Im September 2012 beging Joannis Avramidis seinen 90. Geburtstag. Als Schüler und Lehrer der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien beschäftigt er sich in Bildhauerei und Malerei mit dem menschlichen Körper und dessen Struktur. Als Hommage an Joannis Avramidis zeigen wir das Schaffen des großen Bildhauers in der umfassenden Werkschau „Joannis Avramidis – Skulpturen, Gemälde, Zeichnungen“. Dies ist die erste große Galerien-Ausstellung in Wien seit 1992, die von 17. Oktober 2012 bis 31. Jänner 2013 das Werk des Künstlers in seiner ganzen Vielfalt präsentiert.

In September 2012 Joannis Avramidis has celebrated his 90th birthday. First as a student and later as a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, he focused on the structure of human body in his sculptures and paintings. We show the important Oeuvre of the artist in the exhibition “Joannis Avramidis – Sculptures, Paintings, Drawings” from 17th October 2012 till 31st January 2013. This is the first Gallery-Exhibition of Joannis Avramidis in Vienna since 1992.
