CAROLE FEUERMAN: Sculpture
Opening Reception: Thursday, December 9th, 6-8 pm
BOCA RATON, FL (October 23, 2010) – Elaine Baker Gallery announces the upcoming exhibition of sculpture by Carole Feuerman. The exhibition opens on Thursday, December 9th and continues through January 2011.
If you watch one of Carole Feuerman’s sculptures long enough you might see it breathe. Feuerman, who is recognized as one of the world’s most prominent hyper-realist sculptors, will be exhibiting at Elaine Baker Gallery through January. The artist’s lifelike figures and fragments reveal the variety of human existence with each pose, gesture or activity. While drifting through time on an inner tube or resting against a beach ball, each work expresses a common thread of experience that connects us. Feuerman intends to depict the reality she perceives, not only through physical forms but also by our own relationships and associations.
