In collaboration with Karen Lennox Gallery the McCormick Gallery is pleased to present its first solo exhibition of works by Jim Falconer. Falconer gained fame in the mid-1960s in the Hairy Who exhibitions at Chicago's venerable Hyde Park Art Center. However he soon distanced himself from that group and eventually left Chicago for New York. This exhibition presents a body of work that developed from 1990 to the present. Falconer has since moved back to Chicago and the works were painted in both cities.
