ARNDT is pleased to announce its participation at Art Basel Hong Kong 2013.

In its fifth consecutive year of showing in Hong Kong, ARNDT will present spectacular new works by Entang Wiharso and Eko Nugroho, both representing Indonesia in the Venice Biennale. Additionally, ARNDT is showing new works by Sophie Calle, a new „Autobiographical Story“ and one of her films „See the Sea“, which has been recently featured at the Hara Museum in Tokio as well as new work by Yang Jiechang.

In a cabinet within the booth ARNDT will show paintings and works on paper by ZERO-Group founders Heinz Mack and Otto Piene, together with work on paper by Joseph Beuys, Qiu Zhi Jie and paintings by Christine Ay Tjoe, Liu Wei, Zhou Chunya and Zhang Xiaogang. ARNDT will also premiere two new major print-paintings by Australian Artist Mike Parr and have a major new painting by Rodel Tapaya.

As part of the fair's Encounters section ARNDT will be showing Jitish Kallat's installation „Circa“, that has been displayed in the Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Mumbai, and the Ian Potter Museum in Melbourne.

The Art Basel HK „Salon“ on May 23rd from 2 to 3 pm – with Arin Dwirhartanto Sunaryo & Entang Wiharso in an artist talk and the book launch for „Sip! Indonesian Art Today“, moderated by Enin Supriyanto. Book launch in collaboration with Asialink of „Circa“ – edited by Natalie King and Bala Starr at our booth on May 24th, 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
