What is it with California? We at Turner Carroll have had our eye on that state for a long time. Recently, an incredible crop of artists has burst into the national consciousness from the West Coast. Is it because artists in California were isolated from New York? Or is it because the West Coast is now turning its gaze away from the U.S. toward Asia?
