This exhibition features a selection of works from the late 1950s and early 1960s by this important American sculptor. Championed by the Allan Stone Gallery, Mallary’s “junk aesthetic” was at the heart of art-making at the time. Works on view will include wall size assemblages as well as related drawings and prints from the Allan Stone Collection, the Robert Mallary Family collection and other private collections. The exhibition is organized by guest curator Michael Klein.
