Bauhaus

Founded by architect Walter Gropius, the Bauhaus taught Modernist design in Germany between 1919 and 1933. The Bauhaus sought to unify creativity and manufacturing, minimizing the distinction between fine and applied arts. This style was characterized by simplified forms and functionality.
