Artist Talk: Dialogue between Ed Moses and Rani Singh, Saturday, 8/31 2:00-3:00
Charlotte Jackson Fine Art is pleased to announce Green/Bronze, a solo exhibition mixed media current works by Ed Moses. An opening reception for the artist will be held on Friday, August 30th from 5-7 p.m. The show will be on view through September 23rd. The gallery is located in the Railyard Arts District at 554 So. Guadalupe Street.
Ed Moses is a member of the generation of California-based abstract artists that came of age in the mid-twentieth century, following in the tradition established by Richard Diebenkorn and Sam Francis. One of the most forceful and consistently challenging modernist artists of his generation, Moses has often defied description. Rather than maintain one distinct style, Moses has repeatedly embraced new approaches to his art.
A dialogue between Ed Moses and Rani Singh will be held in the gallery on Saturday 8/31 from 2:00-3:00. Rani Singh of the Getty Research Institute has received international recognition as the co-curator of the Getty Center’s own exhibition, Pacific Standard Time: Crosscurrents in LA Painting and Sculpture, 1950-1970. To reserve a seat for the dialogue contact the gallery at 505.989.8688. Reservations must be made by 8/29 to ensure seating.
