Brick Walk Fine Art is pleased to announce our next exhibition featuring selected works, both contemporary and historic, which celebrate the artistic muse that is the state of Maine. From Cranberry Island to Booth Bay; from Monhegan to Mount Desert, the rich tradition of painting and drawing the nature of place is especially strong given the deep contrasts in terrain found throughout the Pine Tree State. Artists included in the exhibition are Eric Aho, James Baker, Robert Dente, Lois Dodd, Myrl Efrem (Twentieth Century), Marsden Hartley (1877-1943), Connie Hayes, John Heliker (1909-2000), John Lo Presti, Emily Nelligan, Fairfield Porter (1907-1975), Howard Rackliffe (1917-1987), Walter Reinsel (1905-1979), Olga Sears (1906-1990), Frances Segraves (Twentieth Century), William Lester Stevens (1888-1969), William Thon (1906-2000) John Traynor, Paul Zimmerman (1921-2007) and others.
