Special Artist Reception: Friday January 14th, 2011, 6 - 8pm
Dyana Hesson brings a taste of tropical paradise to old town Scottsdale with her upcoming show entitled, “Postcards from Hawaii.” Her most recent collection brilliantly displays Puako, Hawaii’s exotic flowers in full bloom. Each one of these stunning blossoms has an original story inspired by the artist’s love for her friends and family. These stunning paintings and their stories will warm your heart and remind you of those that are truly important in your life.
A special “meet-the-artist” reception will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm. This is Hesson’s third annual event dedicated to the Show Hope foundation, a non-profit organization helping prospective adoptive parents overcome the financial barriers associated with adoption. A twenty dollar donation provides guests with appetizers by Trudy Mapels, entertainment by harpist Vee Ronna Ragone, champagne, a ticket for a drawing for a limited edition giclee by Dyana Hesson, and a special silent auction for an original oil painting by the artist. Also, as a special treat past recipients of the Show Hope grants will be in attendance to share their adoption stories. This show promises to be a joyful night to remember. Call Bonner David Galleries for reservations for this wonderful event dedicated to a worthy cause: 480-941-8500.
