Founded in 1984, Bentley Gallery is synonymous with significant contemporary painting and sculpture in the Southwest. The gallery represents artists from the US and Europe, along with Asian antiquities, and secondary market works from the late 19th century to the Modern era. Paramount at Bentley is the selection of works that are beautiful and exquisitely crafted. Notable gallery shows have ranged from Helen Frankenthaler’s abstractions and Pat Steir’s waterfall paintings to Charles Arnoldi’s color block paintings and John Sonsini’s portraits of Hispanic day laborers, Sir Anthony Caro’s steel sculptures, to Jennifer Bartlett’s house paintings.
