The antagonism that Armando Rearte and Igor Tishin share goes far beyond their backgrounds and their education. Coming from two unconnected cultures –Argentina and Belarus - their work unites them in more than one aspect. Their imagery speaks of an effort to understand a socio-cultural reality, and connects it to the present by expressing their adversity towards their history, their circumstances and their countries politics and doctrines. The transformation of political myths into the myths of visual culture is the main subject of interest that unites their beliefs.
