Music by Mary Flower: Internationally Recognized Acoustic Fingerstyle Blues Guitarist (2011 Cascade Blues Assn. Muddy Award for "Acoustic Guitar")

Melissa Cole and her husband spend time snorkeling in undersea gardens where Melissa finds herself up close to many exotic whales, dolphins, and tiger sharks that she paints with vivid colors, texture, ethnic patterns and collage shapes. Birds, figures, and animals are also her subjects. In this exhibit she will include some of her ceramics.

Marilyn Singh (Melissa Cole's Mother) exhibits watercolors. Her statement: "I have always loved seasons and changing light and trying to capture them in watercolor. I grew up in Oregon but spent many years in Nepal and India. I practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong and enjoy singing in the Corvallis Community Choir. Painting has been a life long joy and pursuit." Marilyn has inspired her daughter, Melissa Cole, to also be an artist.

Brianna Gonser who is a young budding artist is presenting her second exhibit of new paintings. She has spent the year exploring new avenues of artistic endeavors such as acting in a play at the Northwest Children's Theater, taking piano lessons and singing in the school choir which performed for the Christmas Hoildays in locations around the state.

Maria Gonser, Brianna Gonser's Mother, who was an art major at Linfield College and Oregon State University, has returned to painting after years of other activities such as rock climbing, deep sea commercial fishing, raising children and running an art gallery. Maria will have a selection of her new oil and acrylic paintings in this exhibit.
