1893 Studied architecture at Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ
1899 - 1901 Studied at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia under Thomas Pollock Anshutz and Hugh Breckenridge
1901 - 1903 Studied at Art Students League
1905 - 1910 Traveled abroad in Europe where he met Edward Steichen and Alfred Stieglitz
1953 Died in Cape Split, ME
