Studied Composition at Freiburg Conservatory, Freiburg, Germany
1962 Participated in the Fluxus-Festival, Wiesbaden
1971 Worked at WNET's TV lab in New York, NY
1979 Taught at Kunstakademie Dusseldorf, Germany
1987 Elected a member of the Akademie der Kunste, Berlin, Germany
1991 Received the Skowhegan Medal for Video, ME
1991 - 1992 Received the Goslar Kaiserringes Award
