1943 Becomes an American Citizen; Inducted into the US Army
1945 Stationed at Office of Strategic Services: Washington, DC; Kunming, China and India
1946 Discharged from US Army; Begins teaching career
1949 Awarded second Guggenheim Fellowship
1951 Begins Teaching at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY
1971 Died
