DRYDOCK Gallery presents: Major Show of Indian Art by C. Jagdish
He won his first paper sculpture prize at the All India Miniature Exhibition. Then was awarded a grant scholarship at the prestigious Garhii Studio in Delhi. The largest grant offered to an independent artists in the U.S., the Pollock-Krazner Foundation Award, was awarded to Jagdish in 1993. He has studios in India, Great Britain and the U.S. He was born in Hyderabad and still resides there.
Many professionals from India have visited our Gallery. They all state, “They have never seen this much high quality work in the U.S. and it brings back so many memories of home.” His work is incredibly popular in India and throughout Europe.
