Mazen Rifai
Paintings inspired from his home town: Baalbeck Landscapes
March 8 - March 29, 2014

In 1974, Mazen studied architecture in the Lebanese University of Beirut and taught at the Institute of Fine Arts, Beirut, until 1993. He then dedicated all his time to architecture and painting.
Elected member of the Municipality of Baalbeck as well as member of the committee of the Baalbeck Festival, M. Rifai is an active member for the conservation of the national architectural heritage.
Baalbeck, his native city, remains his main source of inspiration. As an architect and as an artist, Mazen Rifai is keen on salvaging the memory of his city.
