Prints are derived from a collection of 19 transparencies that have been missing since 1962, and was originally part of Mr. Stern's “Last Sitting.” It is one of nine different limited edition prints entitled the “The Lost Sitting.” This photo was taken at Marilyn's last photographic session with Bert Stern in June 1962. It was believed that the transparencies were lost forever, until now, and strictly by chance, they have recently been discovered, recovered and restored. None of these prints have been previously published or made available to the public.
