We are presenting a multi-faceted group of abstract paper works by numerous artists. The use of paper for sketching, planning and spontaneous work by theses artists reveals another side of their expertise. Paper experimentation shows the dichotomy between planning aspects in art. Figurative art studies and under drawings require meticulous preparations over time, while abstraction is rooted in raw emotions, free forms and impulse. The paper works in the show reveal the ability of abstract artists to capture a moment in time. The pieces are art in their own right, as well as experiments for future works.
