Belgian-American artist Jan Yoors (1922-1977) was a writer, painter, photographer, filmmaker, sculptor and master of tapestry.
His work was inspired and infused by his rich life experiences - from his youth with a Gypsy Kumpania, to his imprisonment by the nazis,
to his years writing about and photographing the diverse people of New York City.
Yoors his black&white photographs will be juxtaposted with his charcoal nudes drawings and his abstract watercolors.
