Presca Ahn is a cataloguer of modern and contemporary art for artnet Auctions. After
graduating from the Brearley School and Yale College, she was a Fulbright Scholar
in England. She has been a writer-in-residence at the University of East Anglia,
and writes a monthly art column for The American Reader. Before joining artnet
Auctions, Presca was a docent at the Yale University Art Gallery for four years.
She grew up in Manhattan and East Hampton, NY, and is fluent in French and Korean.

Miles Barth began working with photography collections in 1970 at the Art Institute
of Chicago’s Department of Prints and Drawings. At that time, AIC was one of a few
institutions collecting and exhibiting fine art and documentary photography on a
regular basis and their holdings included a major portion of the Alfred Stieglitz
Collection, the Julien Levy Collection, as well a Master Set of prints by Edward
Weston to name a few. In 1979, Barth became the founding curator of the International
Center of Photography’s Archives and Permanent Collection where he held this position
for 19 years. He is the author/editor of 11 books including TROPISM: Photographs
by Ralph Gibson (1987), INTIMATE VISIONS: The Photographs of Dorothy Norman
(1993), and WEEGEE’S WORLD: Life, Death, and the Human Drama, winner of the
International Art Critics Award for Best Exhibition and Photography Book (1997).
His most recent project was the exhibition and catalogue introduction for RISING
DRAGON: Contemporary Chinese Photography (2012), for the Katonah Museum
of Art.

Adria Blouin specializes in Modern and Contemporary Art. Prior to joining artnet,
she was involved in various positions at institutions, such as the Saatchi Gallery
in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She received her
MA from Christie's Education in London, focusing on art, style, and design from
the Renaissance to Modern periods, including a graduate thesis in arms and armor.

Ben Hanly is a Modern and Contemporary Art specialist with over 15 years of experience
working in the UK and on the international art market. With master degrees from
Trinity College Dublin and the Courtauld Institute of Art London, he started his
career at the Dover Street Gallery, specializing in European Old Masters and Viennese
Secessionist Art. He later transferred into the Contemporary Art market where he
curated over 100 projects with many of the UK’s leading public art institutions,
galleries, and artists. In 2006, he joined the auction house Lyon & Turnbull as
head of the Modern and Contemporary Art department. There he played a decisive role
in securing and overseeing the sale of the Deloitte Collection in 2008, the Chen
Collection, and the legendary Soho Colony Room Club in 2009.

Bree Hughes is an associate specialist of photography at artnet Auctions. Bree received
her BA in Art History from University of Wisconsin in Madison, and completed her
Masters Studies in Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.
Prior to joining artnet Auctions, Bree worked as an assistant registrar for the
Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, managing the museum’s collection of prints and
photographs. Bree later went on to work as an assistant for Sotheby’s New York,
and as a consultant for Hermes of Paris, Gilt Group and Frieze Fair of New York.
Bree has privately assisted collectors and estates on print and photography appraisals.

Rebecca Lax is a senior specialist in contemporary prints with broad experience
in the field for the past 27 years. After starting at Solo Press/Impressions in
New York City in 1982, she continued in her interest by working at Pace Prints,
Viart Corporation as Goldman Sachs Associate-managing prints and photographs collections,
Director of Finance and outside consultant to the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print
Studies at Columbia University and as Sales Consultant to Jim Kempner Fine Art,

Gracie Mansion has over 20 years of extensive experience in all aspects of the art
market, specializing in Modern and Contemporary Art. She has lectured and participated
in panels at museums and universities in the United States and Europe. As an independent

John McCord is a specialist in Contemporary Art with a focus on emerging and late
Contemporary Art. Studying Fine Art at The Cooper Union in New York City eventually
led him to work at the American Fine Arts Gallery as associate director from 2002

Deborah Ripley has been an acknowledged print expert for 28 years. After starting
at Pace Prints in New York City, she worked at Christie’s in the prints department,
and then was the director of numerous fine print ateliers, including Landfall Press
and Art of this Century. In addition, she wrote for Art on Paper, a leading magazine
on print collecting and connoisseurship. In 2011, she contributed a chapter on printmaking
for a manual, entitled Accelerating the Curves: the Artist’s Roadmap for success.

Soojin Seelye specializes in Contemporary Asian art, assisting the department in

Christina Warner specializes in Impressionist and Modern Art. She earned her BA

Max Wolf was introduced to Fine Art and Antiques at his family’s Cleveland-based

New York, and The Manhattan Art and Antique Center before joining The Showplace
