Prominent, well established Chinese Contemporary artist Zhou Changqing works with oil painting to create a fantastic flourishing celebration of vibrance and activity in "Cock Fight" 2010. Zhou enhances upon the traditional bird paintings of the past rendering detail with gestured brushwork to denote life and death. Here, Zhou infuses animation into his birds through through their implied movement, capturing the, anger, aggression, and soul of both creatures through visual representation and expression. This work measures 59.05 x 39.37 inches (150 x 100 cm) and comes in excellent condition.

Zhou is most prestigiously known for his contributions to luxury and lifestyle magazine as the president of L'OFFICIEL, and practices an intense fusion of historical landscape and figure paintings with Contemporary art. Zhou has exhibited at the 798 Art District in Beijing in "The Ten Faces of Modernity" in 2010.
