"Yellow Dog II" (2006) is one of largest and most exciting of the surreal figurative oil paintings by famed Chinese Contemporary artist Zheng Delong, that belongs to his acclaimed, colorful portraits of dogs, powerful creatures transformed into spectral, futuristic images depicted in vibrant colors. This iconic manner of painting his subject reflects the artist's desire to represent both the spiritual and physical self in a single image. This painting measures 70.85 x 59 inches (180 x 150 cm) is unframed and in excellent condition.

The artist was born in 1976 in Chengdu, in Sichuan Province, and is impressively self-taught, creating works featured as the subject of top international solo and group exhibitions for over a decade. Zheng Delong is represented by the top commercial galleries in Asia, U.K., Europe and the US, and has exhibited in the "Chengdu Best Young Artist Show" 2003, in Shanghai, China, the Singapore International Art Fair in Singapore, art Miami, in Palm Beach US, Asia Art Exhibition in London, UK., among many others.
