"Mask Series (Woman and Dog)" (2006) is a rare and exciting silkscreen print in colors by one of the most famous Chinese artists working today, Zeng Fanzhi (b. 1964, China). The print measures a large 43.10 x 31.70 inches, is custom framed to larger dimensions and in perfect condition. This is edition 56 of 60.

Zeng Fanzhi is one of China’s most famous Contemporary painters working today. Unlike many of the other well-known Chinese painters. This print is from his most well-known “Mask” series. Zeng’s figures in this Series all wear a white mask, often with large staring eyes or intense expressions. Zeng’s subjects in his Mask Series are not political but psychological, expressive pieces that hint at the physical as well as the mental state of man — or woman — in the modern world, and as well as the inner psyche of the artist. The artist is represented by Gagosian Galleries and lives and works in China.
