Large-scale suspended airplane sculpture features passengers and printed animals of every kind and color—a flying 'ark' created of found and painted wood.

Contemporary American folk artist William Accorsi (born 1931) creates whimsical, figurative sculptures, shadow boxes and collages of found objects and found materials including buttons, found wooden elements, and beads. The artist has illustrated many children’s books and is the author of several interactive books. Formerly from Vermont, Accorsi currently lives and works in Beacon, New York.
