For "Texte zur Kunst" Young edition series Guyton designed a photograph with the title "The Tomato Lovers", 2006. The "Young Edition" is signed and numbered.

New York based artist Wade Guyton (b.1972) is internationally known as one of the key figures of a new generation of young American artists, often deemed "neoformalists". Guyton made a name for himself with his printed images that operate as drawings, paintings, and sculptures, as seen with this untitled pigment print on plywood. Guyton’s work is the product of the struggle between the printers and the unusual printing materials he chooses, such as book pages, blank canvases, and planks of wood.

Guyton’s work has been met with critical acclaim and has been included in numerous exhibitions worldwide, with recent solo shows being put on by Galerie Francesca Pia, Zurich, Switzerland (2011); Friedrich Petzel Gallery, New York, NY (2011); Gio’ Marconi, Milan, Italy (2011); Museum Ludwig, Cologne, Germany (2010); Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY (2010); and Baltimore Museum of Art, Baltimore, MD (2010). Guyton earned his BA in 1995 from the University of Tennessee and went on to study at Hunter College in New York. He is the recipient of the 2002 Artists Space Independent Projects Grant and the 2003 Socrates Sculpture Park Emerging Artist Grant.
