All of the proceeds from this sale will go directly to amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. Since its inception in 1985, this nonprofit organization has become a major force in AIDS research, HIV prevention, education, and the advocacy of AIDS-related public policy. This auction is presented in conjunction with the Inspiration Miami Beach Party to benefit amfAR, Thursday, December 6th 2012 produced by Josh Wood Productions.

Tim Walker (b. 1970) is a British fashion photographer who has produced riveting work for Vogue for more than a decade. He began his professional career in photography working as an assistant to legendary photographer Richard Avedon. In addition to photography, he has also worked in film, debuting his first short film in 2010. Walker has earned numerous prestigious awards for his photographic, including the ‘Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator’ from The British Fashion Council (2008), an Infinity Award from The International Center of Photography in New York (2009), and, most recently, an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal Photographic Society (2012). His works are included in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the National Portrait Gallery in London. Walker currently lives and works in London.
