Featuring the face of Andre the Giant that inspired Shepard Fairey's worldwide street art campaign, this version shows the iconic actor/wrestler with more dynamic detail.

Shepard Fairey has become a front runner in the street art environment and given a voice to American graffiti art, encapsulating a new chapter for the movement. Fairey’s art reached a new level of recognition in 2008, when his “HOPE” portrait of Barack Obama became the iconic image of the presidential campaign and helped inspire an unprecedented political movement. As Shepard Fairey’s body of work reached its 20-year mark in 2009, the Institute of Contemporary Art (Boston, MA) honored him with a full-scale solo retrospective, which drew a record number of visitors for the museum. Entitled ‘Supply and Demand,’ the exhibition shares its name with Fairey’s career-chronicling book, now in its second edition (Gingko Press). The exhibition traveled to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and then moved to the Center for Contemporary Art in Cincinnati, OH. He recently had a sell-out show at Deitch Projects in New York, the last show to ever be held at this renowned gallery.
