An etching and engraving on Arches France paper, this work from Dali's 1975 suite paying hommage to Leonardo DaVinci, has been authenticated by the late Albert Field (author of the Dali Raisonne). Mr. Field signed the work on the verso in pencil. The piece has also been authenticated by the present President of the Salvador Dali Archives, Mr. Frank Hunter. His signature and the date of his authentication appear on the verso as well.

Salvador Dali is undoubtedly one of the most influential and best known artists of the twentieth century. Dali created at least 1,700 prints over the course of his career. Two of Dali's favorite printmaking techniques were lithography and engraving but his wildly experimental printing techniques also included blasting them with electric charges or bombarding them with eggs filled with ink.
