This set was originally part of a dining room set. They are all customized and unique

Roy McMakin (born 1956) is a designer, architect, and furniture maker. His success stems from his ability to bridge the gap, between art and design. From whimsical objects to functional furniture, he plays on different interpretations for his pieces - a poetic approach to creating domestic objects.
Roy McMakin was first discovered in 1987 through his Los Angeles showroom, known as Domestic Furniture. In 1994 he closed shop and moved to Seattle, where he still lives today, in order to be closer to the woods with which he works.
