Peter Shire is an American Contemporary artist who has made forays into the worlds of architecture, furniture, and fashion. He draws inspiration from Echo Park and Los Angeles where he lives. Shire has done numerous commissions for public spaces and private buildings in the Los Angeles area. His work can be seen in the collections of museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art. This piece is welded steel and aluminum metal sculpture with anodizing and two-part polyester painting Movable Elements: White, pink, and green vanes.
