Printed from a scan of the original negative under the direct supervision of the artist.

Lynn Davis (born 1944) is an American photographer best known for her large-scale photographs of monumental landscapes. In 1970 Davis received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, and began her career with an apprenticeship for Berenice Abbott in the summer of 1974. She has since photographed in forty-eight countries, and since 1980, her work has been shown in over sixty solo exhibitions. Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, among others.
