This is an iconic heart created by Jim Dine. The piece is an etching and drypoint from 1982, on Auvergne à la Main Floral. The edition was published by the artist for the Federation-United Jewish Appeal in New York.

Jim Dine is a major contemporary American artist known for painting, sculpture and prints. Robes and hearts are the most important symbols in Dine's iconography. The artist is represented by Pace Gallery in New York City. His works are in the collections of major museums worldwide.
