This is a rare limited edition hand signed poster of Jeff Koons' famous Bear and Policeman (wood polychrome) sculpture.

The poster is the preference edition, published by Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Germany, on the occasion of the widely publicized Koons exhibition in 1993. This poster was purchased directly from the Museum, ind it is 1 of only 50 that Koons signed for the exhibition opening. All copies were sold out after 15 minutes.

On the poster, Koons created unique original drawing of a flower, done with a silver sharpie.

It is, exceptionally, also hand inscribed by the Artist, who writes, "Embrace your past", one of Koons' enduring personal mottos.

This limited edition poster with original drawing is hand signed by Koons in his trademark signature from the early 1990s. Famously, Koons would later change his signature in recent years, to the more familiar two letters (JC), but this is distinguished as one of the original Koons autographs. (the singular V, as Koons collectors know.)

The bear and policeman featured in the poster is an iconic 1988 work that has been exhibited worldwide, including at the famous Koons exhibition at the Palace of Versailles in France.

In fine condition; never framed.
