"Angel" (2011) is a stunning inkjet print on canvas by Persian Contemporary artist Hojat Amani (Iran, b. 1978) that belongs to his ongoing and iconic ongoing "Angel"series of large-scale portraits of colorful Angels that conflate traditional Persian imagery with Contemporary portraiture, colors, poses and techniques. A deep empathy for mankind defines this Series, celebrating humankind's fate and potential, joy in one's own possibilities, and the powers of transcendence. This work measures 53.15 x 22.46 inches (135 x 82 cm) is unframed and in excellent condition.

In 2008 Hojat Amani received his MA at University of Art, Tehran, Iran, in
2004 his BA in Painting, University of Art, Isfahan, Iran, in 2001 a Diploma in Fine Art, School of Higher Education, Isfahan, Iran and from 1997-2003 studied for his Diploma in Persian Calligraphy Society, Isfahan, Iran. The work of Hojat is shown the world-over, most recently in 2012: "Environmental Photo", Day Art Gallery,Tehran, Iran and in 2011: “New Iranian Art”, Klaipeda Culture Communication Centre Exhibition Hall, curated by Edward Lucie Smith.
