This work is unframed and in excellent condition.

"Inevitable Interests" feels like a celebration of Spring. It is lyrical and celebratory in color and composition, nearly able to read like musical notes, with the feeling of sunlight streaming through bare branches, flowers and grass long dormant over winter now budding and blossoming,. This stunning and complex painting is one of the most important and largest-scale works from the larger Series of abstract 'action' paintings by emerging American Contemporary artist, Greg Minah. Minah's works intersection Calligraphy, Graffiti, Abstract Expressionism and Action Painting, as his process involves pouring acrylic paint directly on the canvas and then spinning, tilting and turning the canvas to create organic abstract marks and negative space. For Minah, the paint is the subject that he 'humanizes' with specific titles for each paintings, as here.

The layers of paint create an intense internal dialogue, as each informs the artist on how the next might be applied. Minah builds many layers of color and marks one upon the other, never altering the results of the paint and is very thoughtful about the order and narrative of colors applied. The genius of Minah's work is that is appears completely hand-painted and controlled when it is anything but. This method of is best be described as a collaboration between the spontaneity of paint and the direction that the artist suggests to its behavior.

Greg Minah has been widely exhibited in the U.S., U.K. and Europe and is already in select prestigious Private and Corporate Collections, world-wide. He is a favorite at international Art Fairs, and sells out in both solo and group Gallery exhibitions. The artist received his Fine Art degree from The University of Maryland and currently lives and works in Maryland, US.
