Lot description
The most well known image from the 29 prints in Lettera amorosa. Published by Edwin Engleberts and printed by Mourlot in Paris in 1963.

Georges Braque was one of the founders of Modernism when he joined the artists involved in developing fauvism in 1905. At l'Estaque in 1909 he was profoundly influenced by Cezanne. There he met Pablo Picasso, and the two simultaneously explored form and structure with results that led to the development of cubism.
