This dramatic sculpture, "Two Hands 1" is an iconic image from internationally renowned 20th century sculptor George Segal's most productive and important period - the 1970s, when he was actively exhibiting at the legendary Sidney Janis Gallery in New York. This particular work is a high relief multiple of an original work that is found in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
