Florence Meyer Homolka was born in New York City. Although Homolka studied dance and acting in school, she would also be known for her photographs. She photographed numerous artists, playwrights, actors, writers, composers, musicians, statesmen, and other celebrities of the time. She was a protégé of Man Ray and in 1963, she wrote a book, “Focus on Art.”
