Eckart Schädrich was born in 1950 in Herrsching am Ammersee, Bavaria and studied at Folkwangschule, Essen and the Kunstakademie, Munich.
In his paintings, Schädrich reflects the atmosphere of nature and changing light conditions of night and day. The use of strong colors in his landscapes are reminiscent of works by Pierre Bonnard, Gabriele Münter and Kandinsky´s early work.
