Lot description

Born in 1936, Dieter Bluhm started as a freelance photographer in the early 1960´s and was soon working with publications such as Vanity Fair, Time and Spiegel. Above all, his subjects focus on the arts. In 1982 Blum won first prize at the World Press Photo Awards and between 1992-2004 Blum became notable as the only European to photograph the world-wide Marlboro advertising campaign.
