Lot description
Warhol brings new meaning to the phrase "printing money" with this unique silkscreen on paper of the dollar bill symbol. He created 60 silkscreen dollars signs and each one was a different color. This one is in a delicious green - an ideal color for the American dollar.

Remarkably, this symbol for US currency transcended its loaded meaning and became a Pop symbol for Warhol proving that his Pop touch could turn paper into gold or green, if you like!
