Although he spent most of his adult life in New York City, A.D. Greer (1904-1998) painted still-lifes and landscapes inspired by his upbringing in Texas and Oklahoma. His opulent, romantic oil paintings combine realism with a rich imagination that fully captures the mystery and beauty of his subjects.
