Beautiful iconic image by 20th Century master.

Born in Boston in the midst of the Great Depression in 1932, Paul Caponigro was able to break away and introduce the world to nature in a new light, as seen through his camera lens. Beginning at age 13, Paul began exploring the land around him, freezing in time the world’s simplest wonders, including his famous piece: Running White Deer. After looking at his photographs of simple objects such as fruits, it is clear that Caponigro has a unique way of bringing a sense of spirituality through the lens of his camera. He has been awarded two Guggenheim fellowships and three NEA grants.
