Seller's Description:
This card was given to the owner in the early morning hours at Dave’s Luncheonette, after a night at the Mudd Club. These cards are very rare as they were given to friends and most have been lost or destroyed. Many of the cards bore the PEZ logo as it was a favorite candy of the artist.
A former band member of Gray, the owner of this work kept only this one card from the several he was given that evening. On the reverse of this "postcard" the current owner had written an intimate and revealing love note to his then girlfriend while under the influence of "white russians". Obviously, he never sent the card.
