Lot description

This is Banksy's third image issued as a screenprint. There are two issues of this print with the title in different typefaces. This is the second issue, with the caption in a calligraphic script with each word capitalised and Banksy printed in white in the leg of the last policeman.
Originally featured on a bridge on Old Street London, a row of riot police smile down on commuters driving through Shoreditch.

This British graffiti artist has become widely acclaimed through his astute visual witticisms, publically ridiculing tradition and current events alike.
