"Shipboard Girl" is one of Lichtenstein's early iconic Pop Art images. He began a series of women in 1963 based on D.C. Comic's "Girls' Romances" and "Secret Hearts." For the serious Pop collector, this is a key work and is in every major museum collection.
"Shipboard Girl" has performed extremely well at auction in the past and, as one of the artist’s most well-known prints, will continue to be sought after by collectors, institutions and galleries.
