In his tragically short life, Charles Marie Dulac produced some of the most beautiful and enigmatic symbolist landscapes in colour lithography. He issued only two suites of prints; Suite de Paysages (1892/3), containing eight original lithographs and zincographs and Le Cantique des Creatures of 1894, For both series, only a small number of impressions were printed in each colour scheme, from each plate. A total of 100 numbered impressions. The plates were destroyed after the edition was printed.
