Created in 1977 by Swedlow Plastics in Southern CA (aviation specialists), the Le Dome table was designed by Charles Hollis Jones. One of the montumental pieces created from this liason that produced the Charles Hollis Jones Signature Collection - for two years only. This rare table required extensive experimentation before it met the designers strict standards. It's huge base was made as a single casting, including the custom steel anchor. The whole was inspired by space, capsual splash downs were a feat of engineering in itself which could only have been done by Swedlow's ability to do large scale casting for the aeronautics industry.
